Henry started serving in healthcare since 2007 at Chong Pang Medical Centre after completing his Cbt Medic Specialist II Training, and Paramedic Level 2 Training from SAF Medical Training Institute.
In 2009, he was awarded the Ministry of Health Health-Science Scholarship for Podiatry in the United Kingdom and graduated with First Class with Honours in Podiatry from the University of Southampton, in-conjunction with the Global Graduate Award under the Graduate-Passport Program.

Under renowned Dr. Ivan Bristow, Dr. Cathy Bowen, he underwent multiple surgical and podiatric training attachments under various National Health Service Trust, including London, Sheffield, Southampton, Isle of Wight, and Guildford. These include Bunion Surgeries, Radio-Frequency Ablation Surgeries, Nail Avulsion with chemical matricetomy, in addition to Sports and rehabilitation modalities such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy, Laser Therapy, and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapies (ESWT).

In 2012, he was the recipient and winner of the year for the UK Podiatry Award by CosyFeet.
The same year, he was accepted into Selwyn College, University of Cambridge, UK for their ISS Program and completed cross-disciplinary learnings in Economics of Public Policy, Psychology, and Renaissance Engineering.

Over the years, he has presented in more than 40 talks and publications, locally and internationally, including publications under Journal of Foot & Ankle Research (JFAR), Podiatry Review, and talks for UK Royal College of Podiatry Conference, Endocrine & Metabolic symposiums for GPs in Singapore, and Sports Medicine Training Program (SMTP) for Sports Physicians. Henry has been an invited speaker for local, regional, and international meetings. He has also worked in tertiary hospitals, secondary hospitals, and primary care in Singapore.

He has continued various international learning activities in hospitals in Taiwan, Thailand, and Singapore.

He was a pioneer in podiatric management for Rheumatological conditions in Singapore.
In 2015, he became the first Podiatrist in Singapore to attach with the Plastic, Reconstruction, and Aesthetics Surgery department of Singapore General Hospital, where he observed advanced microscopic reconstructive surgeries, burns management, and advanced wound care techniques.
